Hey all! My name is Julia, former college student and a home decor enthusiast who loves DIY home improvement projects and finding creative ways to decorate any living spaces on a budget. Recently moved from my dorm to my new apartment which I renovated from scratch and I am here to help you with tips & tricks about home decor/college and more 🙂
If you’re dreaming of sandy toes and salty air, this DIY seaside candle holder is the perfect little project to bring those sunny beach vibes straight into your space!

Hey loves!
Summer is knocking on the door, and we need to be ready to welcome it properly!
Warm days and hot moments are coming, evenings in the backyard with our favorite people, and summer vibes in every little detail around the house.
And to help get ready for this exciting time of year, we’ve got a super cute idea for you — a Seaside Candle Holder! Intrigued? I thought so!
What you’ll need:

- A glass container
- Decorative pebbles
- Seashells
- Water
- Floating candles
The first step to creating our magical seaside candle holder is to mix the pebbles.
You can totally leave them layered if you want, but personally, I love how it looks when they’re all mixed together.
I give them a good mix and decide how much I’ll actually need.
One important thing here — make sure you pick the right container because you’ll need to leave some fresh space for the water too.

The next step is to arrange the seashells on top of the pebbles. Make sure they’re placed securely so they don’t move around when you pour in the water.
And even if something does shift a little, you can always fix it carefully afterward.

The final step to the finished look is to add the floating candles. You can go with just one candle, or a few if you want — it’s totally up to you! I chose to add three because I’m absolutely obsessed with candlelight.
And that’s it! Your seaside candle holder is ready, and you can decorate with it wherever you like — inside your home or out in the garden.

Wishing you a magical summer!
Get creative!
