FAQ

What are the best nail colors for September?

September nail colors should feel like your favorite transitional sweater: cozy but not heavy, vibrant but not neon, playful but slightly sophisticated (is that too much to ask?). Think chocolate browns, soft taupes, muted berry shades, or even a dash of sage green if you’re feeling bold (because green September nails are, frankly, underrated). And yes, classic neutrals are always safe, but why not add a subtle twist—maybe a chrome accent or a tiny heart? Because you totally deserve nails that say, “I’m absolutely ready for fall—but still open to a spontaneous ice cream run.”

What are some popular nail designs for September?

Popular September nail designs this year seem to effortlessly dance between subtle and whimsical. We’re talking updated French tips with earthy shades, delicate floral accents that whisper “summer’s almost over,” and almond or coffin shapes decked out in soft gradients or minimal geometric shapes (hello, chic minimalism!). And if you haven’t tried cute heart details, berry-toned polka dots, or a touch of chrome yet—seriously, what are you waiting for? Because nails for September 2025 are all about elevating basics, keeping things cozy, and embracing a little playful flair (without diving headfirst into pumpkin motifs quite yet).

How can I transition my nails from summer to fall in September?

Ah, the nail transition—it’s an art form, truly! The secret is balancing a summer palette with cozy fall vibes. Swap your bright pinks and neons for deeper blush tones, rich mauves, or muted earth tones that softly signal autumn without going full-on “leaves falling everywhere” just yet.

Gradually incorporate warmer textures (think matte or creamy finishes), playful designs like subtle dots or delicate line art, and opt for almond, coffin, or short-square shapes—because transitioning to fall doesn’t have to be dramatic.

Honestly, simple September nails with a hint of autumn warmth are your ticket to perfectly navigating this seasonal limbo (you’ve totally got this!).

I’ve been waiting TWO years to make this video. 🥹 I’ve been waiting TWO years to make this video. 🥹

From the first empty piece of land to walls, windows, and a roof — it’s all here. Over 50 moments from above, captured throughout the past year, slowly turning into something that finally starts to look like a house. 📸

Watching it all together like this is kind of surreal. When you’re in the middle of building, progress can feel so slow… but looking back frame by frame, you realize how much actually happened. 🏗️

And the funny part?
There’s still so much work ahead.🥲

But this felt like the right moment to pause for a second and look at how far it’s come ❤️

The journey continues. 🏡✨

For more details and the full story behind the build, you can always find it on my blog — jullysplace.com 💌

This week’s house update is all about the windows This week’s house update is all about the windows — and honestly, seeing them finally installed feels a little surreal. After so much planning, measuring, waiting, and imagining what everything would look like, the house suddenly feels completely different. Twenty windows later, the transformation is real. With every passing minute — and with every bit of work from the crews — the project we started is slowly beginning to look like an actual home. ❤️

Right now the site is buzzing with activity. There are three crews working on the house at the same time, moving from one task to another, and I keep laughing to myself thinking, “Well… this is what you call a full house.” Things are finally moving fast, and every new piece that goes in makes the whole place feel more complete. 🥹

What’s already done:
✅ The stairs are finished
✅ All 20 windows are installed
✅ Interior and exterior insulation — partially completed
✅ 2 out of the 3 doors are installed

What’s still left to do:
‼️ Finish the roof
‼️ Install the window sills
‼️ Plaster and paint the house

Step by step, piece by piece, it’s all coming together. And with every new update, the house feels a little less like a construction site — and a little more like home. 🏡

If you’d like to follow the full journey, see more updates, and read about the process in detail, you can find everything on my blog: jullysplace.com.
