Hey all! My name is Julia, former college student and a home decor enthusiast who loves DIY home improvement projects and finding creative ways to decorate any living spaces on a budget. Recently moved from my dorm to my new apartment which I renovated from scratch and I am here to help you with tips & tricks about home decor/college and more 🙂

Looking for a fun and easy way to add some style to your kitchen? Today, I’ll show you how to make chic cork coasters that are perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple materials, you can create beautiful, functional coasters in no time!

Today, we’re making super cool coasters.

This is a really easy and quick idea that will help you add some stylish coasters to your kitchen collection.

Here’s what you’ll need:

diy cork coasters
  • Cork stoppers
  • Cork pads
  • Hot glue gun
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

We start by cutting the cork stoppers.

I cut mine into three pieces, but it depends on the size of your cork stoppers and how tall you want your coasters to be.

Once we’ve cut the cork stoppers, we start gluing them.

Be careful, as the hot glue can burn you because the surface area of the stoppers is small.

Begin by gluing the pieces in the center and then fill in the entire pad.

That’s it!

This quick and easy idea will make your experience even classier, especially when you add two glasses of good wine and a cheese platter. Cheers!

Bonus tip! These diy cork coasters can easily handle hot drinks or even hot pots.
